Synopsis
In this genre-blending film, Karel documents her return to Lebanon during the tumultuous summer of 2022, as the country grapples with a deepening economic crisis. Amid bread lines, power outages, wild parties, and quiet Sundays with her father, she feels both grounded and disoriented. In an effort to make sense of it all, Karel captures the stories and emotional textures that shape her visit. Through her lens, the film explores the layered realities of daily life in Lebanon. Each sequence becomes a portal to a moment, a feeling, a truth—culminating in a maze that echoes a society in relentless turmoil.
